Former East Branch & Lincoln Railroad relocated from Loon Mtn

The Hobo Railroad/Clark's Trading Post crews jointly orchestrated with a
local construction crew this past week in Lincoln, NH.

With a bit of Yankee ingenuity, a former East Branch & Lincoln Railroad steam locomotive (manufactured by Porter in 1918) was relocated at the entrance of Loon Mountain to make way for a bridge construction project.

Upon completion of the bridge later this year, a new display track will be constructed to provide public viewing of this historic locomotive and two log bunk cars that were also moved as part of this initiative.
