This is BML#50, a GE 70-ton diesel electric locomotive purchased new by the Belfast & Moosehead Lake RR in November, 1946, pulling three MEC freight cars passing the turnout at the City Point Central yard (MP 2.5) just outside Belfast, ME, on that road's 33-mile grade which was completed and opened in 1870. I took this picture at about 10:30 at night using a 30-second time exposure and (with the kind assistance of several local railfan photographers) multiple strobe flashes.
