Remnants of the Yellow Dog south of Vicksburg.

These tracks were originally the mainline of the Yazoo Delta from Vicksburg to Natchez, known locally as the Yellow Dog or simply the Dog in Delta blues songs. This is what remains of a 4-mile industrial track with the crossing paved over and rail removed.
