Diamond at Corinth, Mississippi

Used to be Memphis and Charleston (east-west) and Illinois Central (north-south), now Norfolk Southern and Kansas City Southern. Corinth grew up as a railroad center in the 1850's and now has lines in six directions with at least four different companies. This was the site of a major Confederate defeat in October 1862
