Two former B&M Budd RDC's

Here are two of the Hobo & Winni Scenic Railroad's restored Budd RDC cars that were retired from the MBTA. RDC-1 #6105 was able to move under it's own power and had working cab controls on each end. The second car, #6921 is an RDC-9 was designed to be in the middle of a set with no cab controls. As these cars aged throughout the 1970's, the MBTA unpowered most of the Budd fleet. This scene with either a GP7 on the end, was almost a normal sight 30 years ago and more on your commuter train ride in and out of Boston's North Station. T
