On the tail of a 100-count RJMA, 348 gave its assistance to two C44-9Ws and an ES4400 as the train conquered the grades through Veazie and Orono, ME on February 2, 2013. The 348 was actually power from OT-1 which had gone light to Northern Maine Junction especially to assist the crude. It would cut off the eastbound tanks once back in Old Town.
