An Oriole in Baltimore, MDIn May and June, 1954, the Budd Company delivered 11 stainless steel sleeping cars to the Baltimore & Ohio. They were named for birds. Each contained 16 duplex roomettes and 4 double bedrooms. The cars ran on most B&O overnight trains, and actually survived into Amtrak. One, the Oriole, is at the B&O Railroad Museum.
