Wing Road RR Station site

This is the Wing Road RR station site. It looks the same now 2012. This is where the wye was for the Twin Mt/Mt Washington, Bethleham and Profile&Franconia Notch lines ran from. The Littleton/Whitefield line is on the left. The wye to the right went to the above places. Abandoned in 1920's by Boston&Maine. Water tower was in back of bushes;station was in front of photographer. Pond, water tower footings and dam are still there.

Photographed by Conrad Ekstrom, January 2, 2009.
Added to the photo archive by Conrad Ekstrom, September 12, 2012.
Railroad: Boston & Maine.
