It may not be as open or as impressive, but Pan Am Southern's horseshoe curve is long enough to cover two towns. The curve part is in Ashburnham, while the "feet" are in Gardner.

Here a five unit NS (NS 7664,8430,8978, 7570 and 6746 do the honors)consist tugs AYMO up through HIgh Ridge Forest.
