The Star-Spangled Baggage...

Union Pacific baggage car #5779 "Promontory" sports waving U.S. Flags on its sides as it rolls through Troutdale, Ore. with the railroad's 150th Anniversary special.

The car is outfitted as the museum car for the special, and contains artifacts from the construction of the original UP overland route and memorabilia from the railroad's history. There are also touch screen displays highlighting classic and current UP operations.

Behind the baggage are dome-lounge #9005 "Walter Dean", dining car "City of Denver" and business car "Shoshone". The cars were part of an eight-car train visiting the Pacific Northwest behind UP's trio of E9 diesels.
