A crew assigned to the empty grain train out of East Deerfield Yard also doubled as the local AD-1 crew with the MEC 517 on the Adams Branch. After switching on the branch, the 517 reverses back to the grain train at North Adams Ma near CPF423 on a cold afternoon. The grainer will shortly proceed west after sundown.
