ACTION AT ROTTERDAM JCT

Yet another 110 car loaded grain train bound for Ayer Mass is preparing to depart Rotterdam Junction after being dropped off by CSXT from the west. A "MO-1" crew switches the three BNSF 'pumpkin' GE's beside parked RJ-1 power near Route 5S. The big grainer will shortly head east bu willt not reach Pan Am rails till after sunset due to the shortened daylight. Besides the three BNSF locos, MEC 605 was also added to the power lashup to help with the heavy tonnage.
