"Not at all having a ball"

The last remaining 'Ball Signal" in Whitefield Jct. is in rough shape. The cables are rusted, and one of the 'balls' is missing. This signal actively guarded the diamond where the MEC's Mountain Division (on the right) and the B & M's White Mountain lines (left) crossed.
