Visitor Comments about this Photo:

EB&L #5 was purchased brand new from Baldwin in 1906 by J.E. Henry. Louis Boyle has its engineer for years. In the last years of its active life it was run by Eddie Parent. It had an ICC cab card which allowed it to run on the B&M. It was used on the local B&M branch to work between the Henry and later, Parker-Young holdings which included Livermore Falls, Beebe River, Campton Pond and maybe even Woodstock, Lyford Siding and Thornton. Until it moved to the WMC it had only worked actively for a single railroad: EB&L.
