Canadian Pacific H1b 4-6-4 2819 on the St.Luc turntable in Montreal. The Hudson was in freight service but will run to the Glen passenger roundhouse to be prepared for an excursion on Easter Sunday. I had the good fortune to ride her cab during the light move from St.Luc to Glen. It was a wet day and 2811 needed a good cleaning which she received at Glen. View the next photo to see how 2811 looked on Easter Sunday -- I thought she had been repainted but the next photo shows how a good wash and a rub-down with cotton waste will bring back a shine.
