CANADIAN PACIFIC ROYAL HUDSON AT GLEN

Canadian Pacific H1c Hudson 2821 is ready at the Glen passenger engine terminal in Montreal to power Train 235 from Windsor Station to Ottawa. Although 2821 was built at the Montreal Locomotive Works in 1937 it is one of the oldest locomotives working the passenger trains this day -- the Pacifics which will power several trains as long as twelve cars this day were all built in the 1940's. Actually, H1b Hudson 2816 built in 1930 and now preserved in operating condition was the oldest passenger engine I saw in service this day.
