NOW FAMOUS CANADIAN PACIFIC 2816 IN REGULAR SERVICE IN 1959

Canadian Pacific H1b 4-6-4 2816 is leaving Westmount station in Montreal with Train 249 for Rigoud on June 16, 1959. The Hudson's regular career ended eleven months later in the same service at Windsor Station but she has survived to see another career which has gained her more attention than she had when she was just one of many CPR Hudsons. In mid1959 a number of the older CPR Hudson's were in freight service at St.Luc yard in Montreal while others were at Glen in commuter service out of Montreal.
