CANADIAN PACIFIC G5c 1258

Canadian Pacific G5c 4-6-2 1258 at Windsor Station in Montreal leaving with train 214 to Farnham during the late afternoon commuter rush. Eight steam hauled trains left during a relatively short period, all but for one Ottawa train were commuter trains. A year later CPR steam operations would be over. 1258 had a light four car train but loads assigned to the heavy Pacifics ranged from eight to twelve cars.
