CANADIAN PACIFIC McADAM BACKSHOPCanadian Pacific A1e 4-4-0 29 built in 1887 and still working the Norton-Chipman branch is at McAdam being fitted with a false stack to take part in a centenial celebration in Caribou, Maine. I was on my way to ride the mixed train that was powered by three of the CPR's 4-4-0's and was surprised to see the youngest of the three engines at McAdam which is about 115 miles away by CPR from Chipman. The other two engines working the mixed train which I also saw were 144 built in 1886 and 136 built in 1883.
