CANADIAN PACIFIC 4-4-4Canadian Pacific F1a 4-4-4 2926 has entered the McAdam, N.B. turntable to take a train to St.Andrews. The Canadian Locomotive Co. built 20 of this relatively rare wheel-arrangement for CPR in 1937-1938 for light passenger and freight duty. The Pacific by the backshop building was substituting for an out of service boiler. The large number of CPR lines in the vicinity explain the large engine facility at this fairly remote steam stronghold about five miles from the eastern Maine border.
