The Little Engine That Could

Flagg Coal 75, a restored tank engine coal burner, huffs and puffs up the grade just below the highway bridge south of Thomaston, Conn., with a passenger train excursion on May 28, 2011. Several concerned drivers pulled over on the bridge because they thought there was a fire below the bridge. One woman had a cell phone in her hand and almost dialed 911! I told her it was a steam locomotive but she didn't seem to believe me at first.
