Hanover Junction, PA

This is the junction of the Hanover Branch (to the right) and the North Central RR to the left. The Hanover Branch lasted until the 1920's when it was replaced by a Western Maryland line directly from Hanover to York, PA and the tracks were removed. Both lines were built prior to the Civil War and saw heavy traffic until the beginning of the 20th century.
