Former ROCKY HILL, CT - NHRR Freight house roof cave in

Due to recent heavy snows from this past winter, the former NHRR Freight House at Rocky Hill, CT has limited time left in this February 2011 photograph. A few days earlier, the roof had collapsed from the weight of snow. A couple days later, the building was demolished and the basement covered over with a tarp. It is not known if the building will be rebuilt.

The address is 262 Meadow Rd. Rocky Hill, CT. The last use for this historic structure was a taxidermy shop. The passenger station still remains to the right of the photo next door.
