The former CV ICC Wide Vision caboose - now NECR 4044 - has only a short trip each day, but it is in active service on the NECR remaining fairly captive to the East Swanton Spur. Seen at Fonda, the van is tell-tale CV with the large window - and the conductor on the rear platform adds a bit of human factor to the train...
