DL&W/Sussex Mine Railroad: 10 of 12

This photo shows a bridge abutment for the Sussex Mine Railroad. The abutment supported a bridge to carry the line over a swamp. Considering the railroad's primitive construction in 1850, it is amazing that traces of it still exist. Photo taken on Sunday 12/19/2010.
