Pennsylvania Coal Company Gravity Railroad: 4 of 18

This view of the PCC looks east near the summit of Moosic Mountain in Mt. Cobb, PA. The two parallel rows of flat stones in the right-of-way are called "sleepers" and were used to support and anchor the trackbed before ballast was commonly used. Photo taken on Saturday 12/11/2010.
