CSX manifest freight Q424 (?) roars east through Pittsfield. Amtrak's P449 was holding at the signal just out of sight to the right for the meet after making its station stop in town.

CSX AC4400CW's 5117 and 584 made up the power. Note the scorch marks on the carbody just to the rear of the horns midship, as the lead unit was involved in a fire at the beginning of November.
