New Haven Signal Mast at Poughkeepsie, NY

An old New Haven signal sits forlorn along side the east approach to the Poughkeepsie Bridge "Walkway over the Hudson". It's almost mind-boggling to think how this was a bustling artery up until the late 1950's seeing over 20 freight trains per day interchanged from the Erie, NYO&W, L&HR, and the L&NE. The shot was taken on Saturday 10/23/2010.
