The railfanning of the day was just getting ready to get wrapped up when the West Pittsfield DED in Richmond announced the presence of one last eastbound, so leaving the tracks was definitely NOT an option. A few minutes later, L426 rounded the curve into CP-150, and coasted through the Amtrak station in downtown Pittsfield, MA in the last minutes of photographable conditions in the Berkshires.
