During the Labor Day weekend the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railroad had the pleasure of giving it's riders the thrill of riding behind a Steam locomotive. Reading & Northern Railroad #425 a 4-6-2 Pacific type is seen in front of the Jim Thorpe train station. The railroad also still offers cab rides and I took a ride in the cab on the first trip out through the Lehigh Gorge. All I can say is it was an awesome experience and one that I'm glad I did.
