PAS RJED (Rotterdam Junction to East Deerfield) arrives at East Deerfield, MA at 9:20 am on Saturday, August 21, 2010 with 50 cars. This would prove to be a busy day on the west end of Pan Am as there were four daylight trains: RJED, NBED, MOED, and MOAY. In addition, an empty hopper train was tied down at Buckland, MA (just west of Shelburne Falls) and a loaded coal train was tied down at Hemstreet Park (just east of Mechanicville, NY).
