A Norfolk & Southern freight (ex N&W) rumbles westbound out of the Montgomery Tunnels, near Christiansburg, VA. This photo location was one of many, made famous by the photographer O. Winston Link, using b+w nighttime photography combined with large flash reflectors in the mid to late 1950's.
