Amtrak GG1

Amtrak GG1 #927 is easing out of the locomotive service tracks at the Race Street terminal adjacent to 30th Street Station in Philadelphia, Pa.

The motor is one of several GG1s that received the company's blue, red and platinum mist colors.

In the background are several other GG1s, a new E60C, and a visiting French National Railways CC21000, which Amtrak was testing along with a Swedish State Railway Rc4.

This area is now covered by the Cira Centre office tower, which was built above the tracks in the air rights at the north end of the depot.
