RUPO 321 at Leeds Junction

Most of the track on Pan Am's District 1 doesn't look much better than these two old rails dropped on a pile of rotten ties next to the tracks at Leeds Jct in Wales, Maine. Recently, track work has been done in the Portland and Waterville areas, and work between Portland and Brunswick is expected to begin soon for Amtrak. Here RUPO is seen shoving its train back up the Rumford branch after picking up some cars. Once the train is east of Star, the crew will turn 321 on the wye before heading west.
