PO-1 326 at Yarmouth Jct.

Once a busy diamond and interchange point for Maine Central and Grand Trunk (later CN), today Yarmouth Junction in Yarmouth, Maine only sees occasional Pan Am and St. Lawrence and Atlantic locals, maybe one train a week on a good week. All interchange between the two railroads is now done at Danville Junction. Here 326 is leading five cars of scrap from Grimmel's over the diamond toward Rigby on a hot summer afternoon. This spot is expected to see more activity with the Amtrak Downeaster's planned expansion to Brunswick. That is still years away though.
