A view of the former D&H Green Island branch ROW looking west across the bridge that spans 787 and Route 32 just north of Menands, NY. Portions of the branch were pulled up slowly but surely over the past three years; All the rails, ties, crossing gates,
flashing lights, metal boxes, etc., are gone and only a rough dirt path remains. The last customer was a large scrap iron dealer. I believe the last train passed over this line about 15 years ago.
