SOUTH AMBOY, NJ

EMD E units are being prepared for the evening rush at the South Amboy engine house. They will replace GG-1's on the non-electrified track from here to Bay Head. The coaling tower that fueled K-4's stands to the left. There was no turntable here because engines were turned on a wye.
