CP Rail, Fredericton, N.B. Canada

This view as taken over a month ago, indicates the dramatic scene change and deterioration of the former CP Rail Station , compared to my photo taken May 12, 1987.

Though the station was designated an Historical Property, years of controversy by various stakeholders stalled its refurbishment. Happily to many, an agreement was reached with the property owners a few months ago, to develop the site into a commercial retail outlet, that will enhance a majority section of the structure.........the first phase began just a few weeks ago.

The last passenger train to leave the station was Sept. 14th, 1985........the last freight Nov. 29th, 1993.
