Viewing west toward St. Johnsbury Vt., trackage of the former Maine Central, in 1986. The diamond, featuring Classic ball signals, had Boston & Main'e Wells River, Vt. to Berlin N.H. route.......crossing left to right, respectively.

At this time, the Lamoille Valley RR operated the ex MEC Mountain Division track, between St. Johnsbury, Vt. and Whitefield N.H., as the subsidiary, Twin State RR.
