NB Southern Oct 31 / 09

Late in the afternoon, with dull overcast, 2319 East is picking up speed again, after dropping off an employee......perhaps a M.O.W. foreman......near the road crossing, in the Village of Harvey Station, N.B.

Evidence of recent trackwork is apparent with an array of equipment in the service siding here. Presently, a major tie replacement program is taking place, to be followed by a changeover to heavier rail...........all part of a private / publicly funded infrastructure partnership totaling $ 36 Million.
