Goodspeed Station

A view of the Goodspeed yard and station area in Haddam, CT on a drizzly fall day. Taken from Eagle Landing State Park. Shown are the crossing signals at the
Route 82 highway crossing, the Goodspeed Yard Office, the little passenger
shelter put up by the antique dealer, restored New Haven boxcar, and the former Valley freight house (now an antique shop).

Passengers board and alight at this station during the operation of the February
Eagle Flyer trains, and the first weekend of May, during Opening Weekend festivities.
The Essex Clipper Dinner Train stops here on each trip.

Photographed by Lee Carlson, October 27, 2008.
