While the other crew members are hard at work, Conductor Ben Perry chats up a passenger in the restored caboose.
During RR Days. the general public is invited to ride in the former Boston & Maine RR caboose. It was built in 1898 at the B&M shops in Lyndonville, Vt.
The White Mt Central is unique in that a person can ride in a Century old wooden caboose and through the last in service railroad covered bridge in North America.

Photographed by Bill Keay (Permission & Copyright), September 10, 2009.
Added to the photo archive by Ben Perry, October 25, 2009.
