GP-9 8025, one of the few repainted locomotives of the short lived GMSR waits in Newton Miss. The GMSR was one of the first shortlines to operate on former GM&O track. As the road was failing the other large regional in the area, the MidSouth bought it and operated it as SouthRail. The Meridian MS to Shreveport LA main line of the MidSouth crossed the ex GM&O at this point.
