NEW HAVEN FM's AT CHARLES STREET

The FM H-16-44's could MU together but they did not MU with other New Haven power. They were mainly operated individually, at least in later years. I shot this during a May 1956 fantrip stop at the Charles Street roundhouse in Providence, RI -- the train is standing in the background near where there was once a passenger car storage yard.that separated the Charles Street roundhouse from the Oregon Street roundhouse.

Photographed by Edward Ozog, May 20, 1956.
