U.S.ARMY MRS-1 ON THE NEW HAVEN

USA B-2040 is an ALCO 1600 HP MRS-1 on loan to the New Haven to provide relief after hurricane generated floods. From August 1955 until June 1956 there were as many as 38 Army engines on loan to the NH. I shot this at the Charles Street roundhouse in Providence, R.I.
