Rutland to Whitehall... One of two..

This is the first picture of a colorful five engine line up which all together featured engines.. GMRC 304, 305, NREX 4211, VTR 312, and CLP 203. This pic has B23-7, the ex- Santa Fe 4211 and GMRC GP40's 304 and 305.. This picture was taken around sunset at the Howe Center in Rutland. This long freight train was getting assembled and the destination is Whitehall NY to interchange with Canadian Pacific. This train is usually put together, then the crew patiently waits for Amtrak's Ethan Allen Express to clear the line, then off to NY...
