BAR yard-Caribou, ME II

BAR GP-7s rolling along in the yard in Caribou, ME in the fall of 1996. I grew up watching GP-38s bringing trains up to 50 or 60 cars long into this yard during the summer months when coal was taken to Loring AFB until that closed in 1994. Back then, there were at least 5 customers serviced from this yard. Not much left here anymore.

Photographed by Brett Beaulieu, October, 1996.
Added to the photo archive by Brett Beaulieu, May 12, 2009.
Railroad: Bangor and Aroostook.
