A&A 18 waits for another day.With it's excursion duties complete for the day, she sits over the ashpit on shop track #2. Her stack covered, the fire has been banked for the next day's excursions. Banking is much like a controlled backdraft in that it stores the heat in the firebox, all you have to do it remove the stack cover and the fire will start burning once more.
