Plymouth and Lincoln Railroad Alco 958

Hobo Railroad's (P&L 958) is on the north end of the consist at Tilton/Northfield Freight House as New England Southern is coupling to the south end of the consist for a trip to Concord, NH and return.

958 is a former Maine Central unit and is used on the Hobo Railroad trains out of Lincoln, NH everyday in season. It features a 26L brake system with roller bearing trucks replacing the original friction bearing wheels and also has added ditch lights. It formerly ran on the Maine Coast in a green MEC paint scheme.
