Conrail #2803 [B23-7]
River Line Division
Kingston, NY
MP 88.8

Here's an unusual picture. It was around sunset, that my father and I happened to be going through Kingston on our way to our upstate second home (now my primary residence), and caught this lone unit in the middle of the yard.

As we walked towards it, we noticed it was on an unusual angle. Sure enough, the rear truck was derailed. So I stopped and took a picture of the front with my rather recently acquired Minolta 7000i.

We commenced in partaking of some dinner at the local and somewhat trackside Pizza Hut, and I decided to go back to take more pictures of the derailed truck. It was now dark, so I broke out my flash, and took a few more pictures. Then I returned to finish my pizza! (I have my priorities, you know...)
